Title: Precision Farming
Lead: Dr. Varahamurti

Precision farming is the use of unmanned, autonomous vehicles in farming. The purpose of this project is to focus on capacity building research that would facilitate the development of an intelligent ground vehicle capable of autonomously navigating in a field for a variety of tasks (e.g. pesticide application, plowing, irrigation, harvesting, etc.). This project has received CSU
Agricultural Research Initiative (ARI) funding on the condition that the proponents acquire industrial partners.
