The objective
of this project is to develop a mobile facial
recognition system on the Sony AIBO platform.
The limitations of the ERS-220 platform and its programming
capabilities, including wireless communication and
interface, agility, movement, speed, and processing power
are
investigated. The overall intention is to have
an AIBO roam an area and scan for people.
Once a person has been detected, the AIBO would take a picture
of the facial region. This image would then be scaled down
using
Fuzzy logic and identified against any known images by a
Neural Network.
