Using a DSP unit for audio and Video control
============================================


I got the idea of using a Digital Signal Processor to process audio/video.


The advantages.

	1.  Using a DSP apart from the GumStix on the eATV, we can increase the
	    speed of video processing daramatically.
	    I read up on DSP and it mentions that since the DSP are special purpose hardware
	    they can give high accuracy and faster execution.
	    DSP area meant to process data streams like audio, video from a reciever.
		

		jus an idea. i'll read up more on this. what do u guys think ?
