I started organizing the lab. Talked with Dr. J about moving things in the lab. Met with Shane to go over the parts that arrived for the eATV. I need to order that d-sub connector for the data line.

Today I re-loaded the operating systems on the lab computer I use and the one that is assigned to my team to use. I set up Windows and Ubuntu on the computer and are working. Well the computer was loading the operating systems I continued to work on cleaning and organizing the lab. What a mess the lab was in, it is coming together slowly.

I moved the old computers that were used in the lab with their monitors to room 246. This will give the lab more room to store things. I continued setting up the software on the computer I just reloaded the operating system on. I started reading the fuzzy logic book Dr. J let me borrow from him. I'm hoping to soon get back to work on the Hummer project by implementing some of the fuzzy logic into the code.

I started by looking at Nvu to set up my summer logs page.  I quickly 
decided that I needed to do that later.  I then started playing around 
with the Gumstix.  I needed to figure out how to connect to it and how to 
get it up and running so I can start developing something for the Hummer 
on the Gumstix platform.  I need to to continue searching out the Crossbow 
platform.  I think it is comprable to the Gumstix platform but the 
Crossbow has the sensors that we will be needing to use for the Hummer or 
eATV.  Will do that later so I can talk with Dr. J about this.
